Okay, calling this a roulade is a stretch – but it is rolled beef! And filled with cream cheese! And would a beef roll by any other name taste as beefy?

Ingredients

6.75 oz / 250g ground beef

1 slice of bacon

1 eggs

1/2 oz / 12g cream cheese

salt to taste

Instructions

  1. preheat oven to 350F / 180C fan
  2. fry chopped up bacon in a skillet over medium heat
  3. line a baking tray with aluminum foil
  4. mix egg and salt to taste into ground beef
  5. spread out the ground beef as thinly as possible on a piece of parchment paper
  6. warm crean cheese to spread onto ground beef and top with the fried bacon bits
  7. roll the ground beef, using the parchment paper for leverage to roll tightly
  8. bake for 30-35 minutes or until cooked
  9. allow to cool slightly, slice, and serve
