butter-basted scallops
Scallops don’t have to be intimidating, cook them simply with butter and salt for a delicious, easy, and fancy treat.

Ingredients
1 T butter
4 oz / 100g scallops
Instructions
- rinse scallops thoroughly under cool water to remove any sand or debris
- remove small side muscle from each scallop
- melt 1T butter in a frying pan over medium heat, add scallops to the pan, sear for 2-3 minutes on each side and salt to taste
- optional: garnish with parsley
