Scallops don’t have to be intimidating, cook them simply with butter and salt for a delicious, easy, and fancy treat.

Ingredients

1 T butter

4 oz / 100g scallops

Instructions

  1. rinse scallops thoroughly under cool water to remove any sand or debris
  2. remove small side muscle from each scallop
  3. melt 1T butter in a frying pan over medium heat, add scallops to the pan, sear for 2-3 minutes on each side and salt to taste
  4. optional: garnish with parsley
