cream cheese beef roulade
Okay, calling this a roulade is a stretch – but it is rolled beef! And filled with cream cheese! And would a beef roll by any other name taste as beefy?
Ingredients
6.75 oz / 250g ground beef
1 slice of bacon
1 eggs
1/2 oz / 12g cream cheese
salt to taste
Instructions
- preheat oven to 350F / 180C fan
- fry chopped up bacon in a skillet over medium heat
- line a baking tray with aluminum foil
- mix egg and salt to taste into ground beef
- spread out the ground beef as thinly as possible on a piece of parchment paper
- warm crean cheese to spread onto ground beef and top with the fried bacon bits
- roll the ground beef, using the parchment paper for leverage to roll tightly
- bake for 30-35 minutes or until cooked
- allow to cool slightly, slice, and serve
