dippy eggs and no-carb soldiers
Soft-scrambled eggs and no-carb egg white bread make this breakfast staple carnivore and delicious!
Ingredients
200 g or 6 egg whites
pinch of cream of tartar
1/4 c unflavored whey protein isolate
pinch of salt
eggs (for dipping)
Instructions
For the bread:
- preheat oven to 180 C / 350 F fan
- whip egg whites and cream of tartar to stiff peaks
- fold in 1/4 c protein powder and pinch of salt
- add to buttered loaf tin
- bake for 45 minutes
- crack oven with a spoon and allow to cool as slowly as possible, preferably overnight
- slice into soldiers and toast in butter
For the eggs:
- bring a saucepan of water to boil
- add room temperature eggs and boil for 4-5 minutes
- immediately remove the eggs from heat and dunk the eggs in ice water
