egg bun patty melt
I missed patty melts, so I created these egg buns so I can enjoy burgers without the health issues from bread!
Ingredients
4.5 oz / 125g ground beef
1 oz / 25g cheese
1 egg bun
salt to taste
Instructions
- shape ground beef into balls adding salt to taste, and refrigerate
- make egg bun
- once egg buns are made, smash the ground beef balls onto a skillet over medium heat
- flip, add cheese and cover until the cheese has melted
- plate on bun (optional, but recommended: toast the bun before serving)
