low carb protein shake
This recipe was inspired by McDonald’s milkshakes. So next time their ice cream machine is broken, try this high-protein version instead!
Ingredients
1 scoop of hydrolyzed whey protein isolate
200mL / 8 oz milk
200mL / 8 oz milk
3 T / 1 oz heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- make a protein shake using the hydrolyzed whey protein isolate (we like this one) and 200mL / 8 oz
- distribute the shake into an icecube tray and freeze overnight
- add the frozen protein shake cubes to the blender with the 2nd 200mL of milk and cream
- blend until creamy
