no carb chicken gnocchi pasta
Do you miss pasta? I did. So, I created this zero-carb chicken gnocchi!
Ingredients
1/2 lb / 250 g ground chicken
2 eggs
salt to taste
Instructions
- blend chicken, eggs, and salt together until a smooth paste forms
- fill the baggie with chicken paste and refrigerate for at least 5 minutes
- bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil
- once water is at a rolling boil, cut a tip off of the baggie, squeeze the chicken paste out, and use scissors to cut 1-inch segments of the paste into the boiling water
- once all pieces are cut from the baggie, let them boil for 2-3 minutes before removing them from the pan to drain
- optional: fry gnocchi in butter before adding sauce, this helps the gnocchi keep its texture
