ridiculously easy hollandaise sauce
Hollandaise is a surprisingly easy way to elevate a simple breakfast.
Ingredients
5 T of butter
2 egg yolks
1 T apple cider vinegar
salt to taste
Instructions
- melt 5T of butter in a saucepan
- while that is melting, blend together 2 egg yolks, 3/4T apple cider vinegar, and a dash of salt together in a blender
- once the butter is melted, slowly stream it into the blender at a low speed
- after all the butter is added, blend for a few seconds more
- taste the mixture and add more salt or vinegar to taste
- serve warm, can be stored in the fridge but do not microwave to reheat
